Generate website favicons from any image. Upload a photo, logo, or icon and get properly sized favicon PNGs at 16×16, 32×32, and 48×48 pixels. These are the standard sizes used by browsers for tab icons, bookmarks, and shortcuts.
Any size works, but square images (1:1 aspect ratio) produce the best favicons. A 256×256 or larger source image is recommended for crisp results.
16×16 is used in browser tabs, 32×32 for taskbar/dock icons and retina tabs, and 48×48 for Windows site shortcuts and other larger displays.
Add this to your HTML <head>: <link rel="icon" type="image/png" sizes="32x32" href="/favicon-32.png">. Repeat for each size.
